New Delhi: Delhi Police have detained six men for raising controversial slogans at Delhi's Rajiv Chowk metro station on Saturday. According to the Delhi Police, "In a train on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro and at Rajiv Chowk station on Saturday, some youths raised slogans in support of the amended Citizenship Act (CAA).

The first six people started shouting slogans when the train was about to stop at the station. Even after getting off the train, these people shouted slogans like 'Shoot the traitors of the country in support of CAA' Hearing this, some passengers traveling on the train started shouting slogans with them, while some passengers started making videos of the incident.

A large number of passengers present at the station were stunned by the sudden incident. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel watching the security of the Delhi Metro stopped the protesting people and handed them over to the Delhi Police.

CISF issued a statement saying that six youths were seen shouting slogans at Rajiv Chowk metro station at 10.25 am on February 29.
