As per the sources, the factory site which is located in Villers-Ecalles in Normandy which produces 600,000 jars every day a quarter of the worlds total Nutella production.

Since a week the workers and the Worker's force have staged protests and they have barred trucks and vehicles entering or exiting the factory gates at the Nutella Factory. The protestors started demanding salary hikes and better working conditions, especially in light of the rising living costs.

The production of the Nutella would be stopped if the protests continue. Though the company is threatening to take action against workers for blocking their operations, no concrete measures have been taken as of now. If the protests continue till the next negotiating meeting- which is going to be held on June 13.

Social media already started to accept a future where there may not be Nutella.
