Artistes dressed as Hindu Goddess Mahakali perform during the two-day Annual Bonalu festivities that commenced at Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Temple at Lal Darwaza in Old City of Hyderabad on Monday. The Bonalu celebrations also called as Ashadam Jatara is one of the major festivals in Telangana region. This festival is a month-long Hindu folk festival dedicated to Kali.
