110 years of Bihar, Bihar Divas on March 22, Here At Dilli Haat, New Delhi
Union Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Giriraj Singh arrives at Dilli Haat. While speaking to a massive crowd on the occasion of Bihar Diwas, he asked Union Minister Piyush Goyal to make the state into a textile hub of India.
Many cabinet ministers, Bihar ministers and senior BJP leaders came together to mark the occasion of 110 years of Bihar state formation.
Candle-lighting ceremony, accompanied by releasing balloons in the air to observe the occasion of Bihar Divas.
Popular artists from Bihar performed at the ceremony to mark the occasion by singing local folklore.
Union Minister of Textile Piyush Goyal, who was also the main guest at the event, addressed the crowd and his fellow ministers and BJP workers. Goyal praised the Bihar artisans for their contribution towards the promotion of handicrafts and promotion of Mithila paintings across the world.
Over 50 local artisans from Bihar have come to Dilli Haat, New Delhi to display and sell local businesses which includes Mithila paintings, jute clothes, Bihar authentic cuisines and snacks, and handmade handicrafts such as jute based bangles, boxes, bags and rugs.
