Bajaj Chetak has become more Costlier

In India, the manufacturer Bajaj Auto has increased the price of its electric scooter, Bajaj Chetak. Now, the customers have to shell out more RS.15, 000 extra to own it. Earlier it was priced Rs.1 lakh with the increase in price, now price starts at 1.15 lakh(ex-showroom price).
Design-Full Led Light Set up
This Urbane model has neo-retro-look and packs a digital instrument console along with smartphone connectivity. It has got touch-sensitive switches and all LED setup for lighting. It rides on designer alloy wheels and also has key-less start-stop system.
On a single charge runs 95Km
Chetak packs a 3kWh Lithium-ion battery and electric motor. The setup successfully delivers a combined output of 5.3hp/16Nm. Within mere 5 hours, the battery gets fully charged and in a single charge it reaches a range of 95km.

Manufacturer keeping safety aspect in mind has made sure this scooter is equipped with a disc/drum brake on the front wheel and for the rear wheel, drum brake along with CBS (Combined braking system) for better handling on the roads.
