The UAE is set to offer multiple-entry tourist visas, which will allow people to enter and exit the Emirates multiple times. The visa will be applicable for all nationalities, according to reports.

This move comes in the wake of reviving tourism in the country and also strengthen the UAE’s status as a global economic capital, according to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice-president and prime minister of the country. He is also the ruler of Dubai.

It is a five-year tourist visa. The holder can stay in the UAE for up to 90 days during each entry. This period is extendable by another 90 days. A visitor can enter and exit the country as many times as needed on this visa.

In order to attract professionals from across the globe, the UAE cabinet has also approved a new Remote Work Visas scheme which will enable remote workers from all over the world to work remotely from the UAE.

The Remote World Visa will be valid for a year that will allow foreigners to enter the UAE, even if their company is based out of another country, under self-sponsorship, apart from following the terms and conditions that will come along with the visa.

A valid passport with at least six months validity on it and health insurance that covers you in the UAE.

For the Remote Work Visa, you also need to show: 1) A work contract valid for at least one year. 2) A minimum salary of at least USD 5,000. 3) Your payslip from the prior month. 4) Your last three months’ bank statements.

According to reports, UAE’s Remote Work Visa costs around USD 287. Apart from this, you will have to spend on the required travel and medical insurance.
