Pawan Kalyan is born on 2nd September, 1986 to Konidela Venkata Rao and Anjana Devi in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. He has two elder brothers Megastar Chiranjeevi and Naga Babu.

He changed his name from Kalyan Babu to Pawan Kalyan after getting trained in Martial arts! He also holds a black belt in Karate

Pawan Kalyan started his career with Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi in 1996 and bagged the National award with his fourth film Tholi Prema. This movie also bagged 6 Nandi awards.
