Anil Kapoor was born on 24th December, 1956 to Nirmal Kapoor and film producer Surinder Kapoor in Chembur. He has 3 siblings; the elder one BoneyKapoor is a producer while the younger one Sanjay Kapoor is an actor.

Anil’s Education Mr. India completed his school studies at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School and his higher education from St. Xavier's College, in Fort, South Mumbai.

His Acting Debut Anil Kapoor made his acting debut in 1970 essaying the role of a youngSashiKapoor in TuPayal Mein Geet but the movie didn’t get released! Thus, his official debut movie will be Umesh Mehra's Hamare Tumhare (1979).

Next Step Of His Career Although his debut movie made him appear on the screen in a cameo role, his next movie was a Tollywood one ‘Vamsha Vruksham’. In 1980 he also acted in two more Hindi movies Ek Baar Kaho and Hum Paanch.
