Early Life
Bappi Lahiri was born on 27th November, 1952 to Aparesh Lahiri and Bansuri Lahiri… Both of them were Bengali singers and musicians in classical music and Shyama Sangeet and he is their only child. His original name was Alokesh Lahari.

Bappi Lahiri was married to Chitrani on 24 January 1977 and the couple are blessed with two children Rema Lahiri and Bappa Lahiri.
