RIP Taraka Ratna: Lesser Known Facts About This Young Actor Cum Politician
Nandamuri Taraka Ratna passed away at the age of 39 at Bengaluru's Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital. He battled for life for almost 23 days after collapsing with a massive heart attack in Kuppam at Lokesh's Padayatra. His pulse was revived after 40 minutes of the attack and thus a part of his brain was damaged by then.
After he was shifted to Bengaluru’s hospital, there were positive signs of recovery although he was in critical condition. But all of a sudden yesterday, his health got deteriorated and he passed away yesterday evening on the auspicious Maha Shivaratri festive day!
Tarak Ratna was born on 22nd February, 1983 to senior NTR’s third son Mohan Krishna and made his debut into Tollywood with Okato Number Kurradu in 2022. This movie was directed by ace filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao.
Well, Taraka Ratna owned the world record of signing 9 movies in a single day. He acted in almost 23 movies till date and two of them are in the shooting stage.
Tarak Ratna was not confined to lead actor roles; he also acted as the antagonist and side actor and entertained his fans with his amazing screen presence.
Tarak received the prestigious Nandi Award for the Amaravathi movie which was released in 2009. He essayed the antagonist role in this movie and proved his mettle once again on the big screens.
Tarak also made his debut on digital screens with the action thriller '9 Hours' web series and received many accolades for his amazing action as a cop!
Tarak Ratna fell in love with Alekhya Reddy and the couple tied the knot in 2012. The couple is blessed with three children 2 daughters and a son!
Tarak Ratna decided to join politics just a few months back and was actively participating in the events and rallies of the TDP party. He even supported Lokesh for his long padayatra but suddenly on the first day itself, he suffered from a massive heart attack!
