Rafi ji started his singing career by imitating chants of a fakir in his village.

Mohammed Rafi’s first stage show was done at the age of 13… He sang at a concert which featured legendary KL Saigal.

It is all known that, Rafi ji’s “Sun Suno Aye Duniya Walon Bapuji Ki Amar Kahani…” was a popular song. Rafi ji was also invited by then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to his house to sing this song.
