Kickstarted his IPL journey with a half-century, Devdutt is currently the fourth leading run scorer at IPL 2020. With 472 runs in 14 games at 33.71, Devdutt has scored the most runs by an uncapped Indian player in a debut IPL season. He also now holds the record of scoring most fifties in the debut season, breaking the previous record held by Dhawan and Shreyas.
Ruturaj Gaikwad
The CSK opener had a roller-coaster ride in the tournament. Even before IPL 2020 underwent, Gaikwad suffered a setback when he tested positive for COVID-19. Even though he recovered well in time, he had a poor start as his first three scores read as 0,5, and 0, and as a result, he was dropped. On his return, he turned tables around as he scored 199 runs in CSK’s final three games, soon after Dhoni’s comment about “youngsters lacking the spark”.

The UP all-rounder will always be remembered for his five sixes off Sheldon Cottrell’s over that helped RR registered the highest-successful chase in the IPL history. While he picked 10 wickets in 14 matches, he scored 255 runs in 12 innings at an average of 42.50.
T. Natarajan
No pacer bowled more yorkers than Natarajan in the IPL 2020 group stage – 58. Out of Natarajan’s 14 wickets in as many games in the group stage, he made three breakthroughs via yorkers. DC’s Nortje also took three wickets off his 11 yorkers bowled, while MI’s Boult took one wicket off his 25 yorkers.
Ravi Bishnoi
Bishnoi was easily the best of a lot of rookies in the group stage, where he bagged 12 wickets in 14 matches with a decent economy of 7.37 in 14 appearances. More than his wicket-taking abilities, it is Bishnoi’s calmness under pressure which is most impressive.
