CSK beat MI in chase record in IPL The last-ball win over KKR on Sunday was the seventh instance of CSK winning a run chase off the final ball of the innings - the most by a team in IPL going past six by Mumbai Indians.

CSK does it again! This was also the third time CSK had defeated KKR off the final ball of a run chase. The previous two instances came in the 2012 edition (5-wicket win in Kolkata) and the 2020 edition (6-wicket win in Dubai).

KKR claim a forgettable record KKR have now lost off the final ball defending a target six times in the IPL - the most by a side in the competition. Coincidentally, they have claimed the forgettable record by surpassing MI (5 times).
