IPL 2022 Mega Auction: List of 10 marquee players; full list of cricketers to go under the hammer

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is set to take place tentatively between April and May.

Ahead of the 15th edition of IPL, a mega auction is due to take place. The much-awaited event will take place on Feb. 12 and 13 in Bengaluru.

Out of 1,214 registered players, only 590 cricketers are set to go under the hammer at the IPL 2022 mega auction, the BCCI confirmed on Tuesday.

Amongst 590 players who have registered for the auction, 228 are capped players, 355 are uncapped players and seven belong to Associate Nations.

Out of the 590 cricketers going under the hammer at IPL 2022 Mega Auction, a total of 370 players are Indian and 220 are overseas players.

Afghanistan –17, Australia – 47, Bangladesh – 5, England – 24, Ireland – 5, New Zealand – 24, South Africa – 33, Sri Lanka 23, West Indies – 34, Zimbabwe – 1, Namibia – 3, Nepal – 1, Scotland – 2 and USA - 1

Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Pat Cummins, Quinton de Kock, Shikhar Dhawan, Faf du Plessis, Shreyas Iyer, Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Shami and David Warner.
