When is the mega auction?
The mega auction ahead of IPL 2022 is going to be a two-day affair: Feb. 12 and 13 and will be held in Bengaluru.
IPL 2022 Mega Auction: Players retained
A total of 33 cricketers have already been retained by the 10 IPL franchises. The old eight teams have retained 27 players while the new teams have picked three players each.
Players under base price INR 2 crore
A total of 49 players have registered themselves under the base price of INR 2 crore.
Indian players under base price INR 2 crore
Out of the 49 players, 17 are Indian cricketers.

When will IPL 2022 take place?
IPL 2022, which is the 15th edition of the tournament, is expected to start either in the last week of March or the first week of April. BCCI is yet to release the schedule for IPL 2022, which will comprise 74 matches.
