Rishabh Pant, who is leading Delhi Capitals (DC) in the ongoing edition of IPL, has surpassed Virender Sehwag to become DC’s leading run-scorer.

Pant achieved the milestone during his knock of 39 off 36 balls on Tuesday against KKR in the IPL 2021.

Pant, who made his IPL debut in 2016 and has played only for one franchise, now has scored 2,390 runs for DC in 79 appearances at an average of 35.67. He has so far registered 14 half-centuries and a hundred.
Virender Sehwag
Sehwag, who made his IPL debut with Delhi Daredevils (now Capitals) in 2013, played for the franchise for six years. He also played in the Champions League T20 for DC. He finished his DC career with 2,382 runs (2,174 in IPL + 208 in CLT20).
Shreyas Iyer
Iyer made his first DC appearance during the 2015 edition of the IPL. So far, he has scored 2,291 runs in 82 matches at an average of 31.81 for Delhi.
Shikhar Dhawan
Dhawan started off his IPL career with Delhi in 2008. Then, he switched to Mumbai Indians, Deccan Chargers before joining the Hyderabad-based franchise. In 2019, Dhawan returned to DC and now has registered 1,933 runs.
David Warner
Warner started his IPL career with Delhi. In five seasons with DC, Warner scored 1,456 runs. As many as 8 years have passed since his last game for DC, the Aussie still remains in Delhi’s list of top five run scorers.
