Soon after Neeraj won the gold medal in Tokyo on Aug. 7 (Saturday), he began to receive rewards from across India.
IndiGo's free tickets
India's airline IndiGo has announced free travel tickets for Neeraj for a year. “Neeraj we were all overjoyed to hear about your remarkable achievement. You have made the country proud, and I know all IndiGo employees would be truly honoured to welcome you onboard one of our flights,” IndiGo's CEO Ronojoy Dutta said in a statement.
Mahindra XUV
Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra on Twitter promised to gift a Mahindra XUV700 to Neeraj. Responding to a user who asked him to gift the athlete a XUV700, on Twitter, he said, "Yes indeed. It will be my personal privilege & honour to gift our Golden Athlete an XUV 700.”
CSK to gift Rs 1 crore
“CSK honours the stellar achievement by Neeraj Chopra with Rs. 1 Crore,” wrote CSK on theor Twitter account after Neeraj's historic feet in Tokyo.

Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar has announced a reward of Rs, 6 crore for Neeraj and he also declared that the athlete will be made head of the upcoming Centre for Excellence in Athletics in Panchkula.
