What Jurgen Klopp said about Mohamed Salah’s contract situation

Mohamed Salah Salah, one of the best footballers at present, is contracted with Liverpool FC until 2023 summer.

Salah’s contract The Egyptian King has not agreed to an extension with Liverpool as yet.

Does Salah want to stay? Salah previously said that he wants to stay but that his future is in Liverpool's hands and he is not asking for "crazy stuff".

Salah’s salary demands Liverpool’s No. 11 currently earns £200,000 per week and is the joint-highest earner at the club alongside Van Dijk and Alcantara. However, Salah has demanded at least £400,000 as his weekly wage.

‘It’s Mo’s decision’ – Klopp "Mo definitely expects this club to be ambitious and we are. It's Mo's decision. The club did what it can do, that's how it is. From my point of view, it's exactly like it should be in this moment in time and everything is said. Nothing happened further, so no signing, no rejection, or whatever. So we just have to wait for that, it's completely fine," said Klopp.
