JC Diwakar to MIM Akbaruddin: Independents will win elections

Hyderabad: The polls for Rajya Sabha under the influence of the long-lasting state bifurcation episode may add fuel to the fire. According to the sources, the so called Samaikyavadhies are going to vote for the candidate of their own choice instead of considering the candidate backed by their respective parties.

At the lobby in state assembly there was an interesting episode that has taken place. There was an interesting discussion between Senior Congress Party MLA, JC Diwakar Reddy and MIM party floor leader Akbaruddin.

According to the sources JC told Akbaruddin that their party may win two seats instead of four in the imminent Rajya Sabha polls. Further, reportedly, JC told Akbaruddin that the Seemandhra leaders are fuming against the Congress high command and will not vote for the candidate backed by the high command.

During the same discussion, when Akbaruddin asked him why he doesn’t contest the polls, reportedly JC told he would contest the elections, if he receives support from MIM Party. JC said any Samikyavadhi contesting independently would surely win the race. JC also said efforts are on to get nominations from such candidates.
