Elections are only a few months away. Even as the campaigning scene in Andhra Pradesh hots up, every party is intensifying its brand building exercises. While the Congress and BJP have already initiated national campaign, back home in AP regional parties too are charting out strategies to make an impression on the voters.

The first to move is the TDP. The buzz in the political circles is that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh is getting ready for a state-wide tour with the aim to bring back his father to power. He is gearing up to begin a 'cycle tour' (Cycle- emblem of TDP) with the slogans of development and security.

Lokesh who is lending back-end support to his father will be seen leading the battle. Lokesh's cycle yatra will be discussed at the parliamentary party meeting of TDP on Saturday.

Sources in the TDP say that Lokesh is planning to begin his tour in the second week of February. Finer details are yet to be worked out as to when and where he should begin and the distance he would travel, they said.

But they hinted that he is planning to start either from Hindupur where his party has a stronghold or Tirupati. He will empower the youth by highlighting the progress and developments during Chandrababu's regime and expose the corrupt practices of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

It may be recalled that it was Lokesh who planned everything for Chandrababu's Vastunna Meekosam padayatra.
