Parliament adjourned till noon following uproar over Telangana

Both houses of parliament were adjourned Monday till noon following an uproar over the formation of Telangana.

Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha witnessed noisy protests as soon as they met for the day and both Houses were adjourned tillnoon..

As soon as the Lok Sabha met, Seemandhra MPs raised slogans demanding that Andhra Pradesh remain united.

This led Speaker Meira Kumar to adjourn the house till noon.

In the Rajya Sabha too, the members from Seemandhra raised slogans.
