The police brought the two main accused - Y Sriramurthy and D Rajesh, before the media and said that the accused were charged for committing crimes under Sections 420, 354 A (1) (2), 384, 509 for cheating and on other counts.
Dismissing the reports that the police were under pressure to influence the investigation in order to save the ones from the ruling party, the Commissioner of Police said that investigations in the case are on with two task force teams and local police probing into the scandal.
