Speaking to the newsmen, he alleged that the Congress government failed miserably in handling the power situation in the State and was forcing people to face hardships with power cuts. Though the farm sector was severely affected due to the power failure, the government was not taking any relief measures. Indrakaran Reddy demanded Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to take steps to ensure adequate power supply to farmers and to ease the power situation in the State. Large number of YSRCP activists and leaders were present at the protest camp.
