Training students to be industry ready

Students of Nalanda Degree College are being trained in computer hardware and networking and multimedia as part of certificate courses in addition to the university syllabus to make them industry-ready. Participating in the programme, Acharya Nagarjuna University associate professor R Satya Prasad lauded the initiative of the college management to empower students with additional skills.

“Students of computer science should learn other courses to be well versed with academic and functional skills that fetch them extra points in a job interview,’’ he said. Later, he gave away certificates to students. Hardware and networking course coordinator B Chandra Giri and other faculty members were present.
