“Everyone wants to own property in Vijayawada now as it is a major city in Andhra Pradesh with the capital region coming up in the vicinity. The property shows will be helpful to prospective buyers to choose their options and realise their dream of having a house or a flat within their budget,” said Municipal Commissioner C Hari Kiran, while inaugurating the Property Show at Sri Sesha Sai Kalyana Vedika in the city on Saturday.
The two-day property show is being organised by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (Credai). Builders and real estate developers, interior decoration firms, electrical equipment, sanitary ware, housing products and material manufacturers set up stalls at the show, besides banks and financial institutions which came up with several housing loan schemes.
The Commissioner said it was the right time for people to invest their hard earned savings in property for good dividends. “A visit to the property show would help them be aware of various options as several builders and real estate developers showcased their housing projects,” he said. Credai state president Siva Reddy, Vijayawada chapter president YV Ramana Rao, vice- presidents C Satish Babu and RV Swamy, general secretary K Rajendra and others were present at the inaugural function.
