The 24th annual day of KCP Siddhartha Adarsh Residential Public School was celebrated at Kanuru on Monday. Students presented several cultural programmes like Annamacharya keerthanas, patriotic songs, Kathakali, Mohiniattam, Bharatanatyam, Manipuri, Odissi, Punjabi and Japanese dances which enthralled the audience.

Students presented several cultural programmes like Annamacharya keerthanas, patriotic songs, Kathakali, Mohiniattam, Bharatanatyam, Manipuri, Odissi, Punjabi and Japanese dances which enthralled the audience.

Participating in the celebrations as chief guest, Krishna Zilla Parishad chairperson Gadde Anuradha exhorted students to participate in social activities apart, mingle with people and develop leadership qualities. “Students should realise the fact that social service is also part of the curriculum,” she said.

Later, the ZP chief and Siddhartha Academy president N Venkateswarlu presented medals to meritorious students. Krishna House of the school won the overall championship. P Rupesh Kumar secured the Velagapudi Ramakrishna Memorial Gold Medal. The Parvataneni Brahmayya Gold Medal went to M Siddhartha. Siddhartha Academy secretary P Lakshmana Rao, vice-president Ch Nageswara Rao, convener S Rama Krishna, principal S Chandrasekharan and others spoke at the event.
