Sri Satya is the face of Vijayawada
Future All Miss Vijayawada 2015 contest was on par with any national level beauty pageant by having lots of glamour, glitz and hungama. M Sri Satya, an Intermediate student, was crowned Miss Vijayawada 2015 at the grand finale of the beauty pageant held at Sai Jewel Convention Center on Sunday. Sowjanya and Priyanka stood first and second runners-up respectively in the beauty contest.

Future All Miss Vijayawada 2015 contest was on par with any national level beauty pageant by having lots of glamour, glitz and hungama. M Sri Satya, an Intermediate student, was crowned Miss Vijayawada 2015 at the grand finale of the beauty pageant held at Sai Jewel Convention Center on Sunday. Sowjanya and Priyanka stood first and second runners-up respectively in the beauty contest. The top three contestants will compete for the Miss Andhra Pradesh 2015 title.
After extensive grooming and training sessions for the girls who qualified in auditions and preliminaries, 18 contestants reached the finale of the beauty pageant. Of the 18, five entered the tight zone by correctly answering the questions pertaining to their credentials and strengths to deserve the Miss Vijayawada title. Sri Satya, who chose the country over her parents as an answer to a question posed to her in the tight zone round, walked away with the title of Miss Vijayawada 2015. To another question, she replied confidence and my ability to work hard were her plus points.

Speaking to The Hans India after winning the crown, Sri Satya who just completed her examinations, says, “I am shocked and overwhelmed. I never thought of winning the beauty pageant. My achievement is all because of my parents. I thank the organisers of the event for giving an opportunity to the girls of Vijayawada to show their mettle. I have a strong passion for acting and modeling. My goal is to become a successful model and actress.”
Film actor Sivaji, actress Poonam Kaur and director Nageswara Reddy along with the title sponsors crowned the winners of the beauty pageant. BC Welfare Minister Kollu Ravindra was also present at the crowning ceremony. The event which ran till midnight enthralled the gathering with the scintillating performances of Sandeep dance troupe and Jabardasth comedy show fames Rocket Raghava, Chalaki Chanti, Galipatala Sudhakar and others. Comedian Ali’s brief presence on the stage caused a commotion at the venue.
Singers Parnika, Mounima, Saketh and Simha rendered some beautiful melodies and rocking numbers which cheered up the audience. When Sivaji insisted that the girls taking part in the pageant speak Telugu, others supported him. The girls expressed their feelings and answered questions in Telugu. The first runner-up Sowjanya was awarded Miss Photogenic, while the second runner up Priyanka got an award for having the beautiful hair. Keerthi (Best Skin) Ramya (Best Smile), Teja Sri (Best Eyes), Lakshmi Tejaswi (Best Style) and Sai Sujana (Best Personality) were also awarded at the beauty contest.
