Andhra Pradesh capital will become a replica of the model foreign city with twin towers if everything goes according to the master plan submitted by Singapore.

Two tallest buildings, which are not seen anywhere in South India, have been proposed for Amaravathi, sources say. The blueprint of the masterplan of Amaravathi city was designed by Singapore's Surbana Jurong. The two buildings proposed as twin towers would spread across nearly 45 hectares and they will be visible from all the adjacent areas including other side of the Krishna river.

According to the CRDA officials, the two proposed towers will have 70 floors each. A gallery which will house sports centre and others connecting the twin towers has also been proposed. The towers will be surrounded by gardens and several offices. Apart from the twin towers, a tall Dhyana Buddha statue will be set up on the banks of the River Krishna, sources added.
