Speaking on the occasion, Youth Congress State president Devineni Avinash came down heavily on NDA government for carrying out a malicious campaign against the Congress top leaders under its agenda of ‘Congress Mukt Bharat’ backed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He accused the NDA government of ignoring welfare of people and according priority to complicating the case, though the Enforcement Directorate had given a clean chit to the Congress leaders.

Referring to the State, the Youth Congress leader said at least now the NDA government should focus on according the special category status to Andhra Pradesh and other benefits assured at the time of bifurcation. DCC president Kadiyala Butchi Babu, AP Mahila Congress president Sunkara Padma Sri, women leaders Sk Kurushida, Tadikonda Vijayalakshmi and others also took part in the protest.
