Lecturers made aware of research project funding
A two-day awareness meet on `Funding Agencies for Research’ was held for college lecturers at Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), which concluded on Friday.

The meet also covered `Research Proposal and Report Writing’, `Research Paper Publication’ and other related topics.
Prof. N Munuswamy of University of Madras, who acted as a resource person for the meet, explained the details of national and international agencies, which fund educational research projects. He also dwelt on prerequisites to undertake minor and major research projects and the process of funding.
Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala Principal T Vijayalakshmi said the meet was organised to encourage lecturers to take up research projects for the benefit of society. IQAC coordinator M Sarala Devi and others spoke. Lecturers of various colleges in the city attended the meet.
