The Bonneville range of bikes from Triumph is one of the most popular product line-ups across the world and it also has a very huge fan following. The company has now expanded the Bonneville range in India by launching the Thruxton R at a price of Rs 10.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Triumph Thruxton R is powered by a 1200cc, 8 valve, parallel-twin Bonneville engine that is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The engine produces a massive 112 Nm of torque at 4950 RPM. The bike also gets new exhausts which are designed to give out a very bassy exhaust note.

The Triumph Thruxton R also comes with twin-floating Brembo discs, Brembo master cylinder, fully-adjustable Showa forks, fully-adjustable Ohlins twin rear shocks and Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres. You also get features like ABS, Traction Control, Slip Assist Clutch, rider modes, LED tail light, LED DRL headlight, USB charge socket and engine immobiliser.

The Triumph Thruxton R gets a proper cafe racer styling. It is offered in 2 colours Diablo Red and Silver Ice. A lot of customisation options are also possible while the company also offers a Track Racer Inspiration Kit which consists of a sculpted cockpit fairing, lower clip-on handlebars, rear mudguard removal kit, Vance and Hines slip-on silencers and a leather tank strap.

Triumph also offers the Cafe Racer Inspiration kit which comes with rear mudguard removal kit, Vance and Hines exhausts, Signature Triumph rubber knee pads and a leather tank strap. There is also a Performance Race Kit on offer which bumps up the power figures of the Triumph Thruxton R.
