In a bid to promote meditation and heartfulness relaxation across various sections of community, Sri Ramachandra Mission of the city has embarked on a campaign to coincide with the International Day of Yoga. The members of this organisation are set to conduct a 7 -minute guided relaxation programme for the school, college students and public on Tuesday.

Addressing the news reporters at Trust's office near Kotha Vanthena centre, incharge of Vijayawada unit, K V Subba Rao said that the Mission has been working towards promoting peace of mind through meditation. “Solace has become a very rare experience for people of today’s world be it children, youngsters or adults. They are facing number of challenges, pressures and are stressed by societal behavior caused due to lack of mind control.

To make them rely on meditation is what we are working on. Meditation will help regulate the mind by granting peace.” On the occasion of Yoga Day, we have plans to visit as many as 5 engineering colleges, 10 Degree and junior colleges in the city along with the railway station. We sought permissions to organise a 7 minute demonstration of guided relaxation through meditation, added Subba Rao.
