Job skills and placement emphasised

PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science organised a guest lecture on `Job Skills and Placement’ for the final year degree students here on Tuesday. Delivering the lecture, VR Siddhartha Engineering College training and placement officer Vedantam Vijay Maruti Babu said students need to focus on development of communication and soft skills and personality to get selected in campus recruitment drives.

They should prepare themselves for campus selections in accordance with a plan, he said. The guest lecture covered various aspects of campus placement and selection methodology. Siddhartha College principal MVN Padma Rao, placement officer Kavuri Sridhar and faculty members were present.
