The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) India Couture Week (ICW) 2016 scheduled to take place in New Delhi later this month, will have fashion designers Tarun Tahiliani and Anita Dongre showcase their collection for the first time at the platform ever since the event shifted to the capital city in 2010.

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) India Couture Week (ICW) 2016 scheduled to take place in New Delhi later this month, will have fashion designers Tarun Tahiliani and Anita Dongre showcase their collection for the first time at the platform ever since the event shifted to the capital city in 2010.

ICW’16 is slated to take place from July 20-24 at the Taj Palace hotel in New Delhi, read a statement issued on behalf of the FDCI. The designers will be showcasing their ensembles on day two of the event.

Tahiliani has always courted elegance without losing touch with traditional drapes, while Dongre is known for her vivacious colours and embroideries.“Both Tarun and Anita will present at the FDCI India Couture Week 2016 this year taking the grandiosity of the event a notch higher.

They have been influencers and trend setters in the fashion space and will present defining looks through their sartorial rendition of what a modern woman desires,” said FDCI president Sunil Sethi.
