Elegant, sophisticated & exclusive Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition
Dr Ing h c F Porsche AG is now offering a special edition for two of its Cayenne models. The Cayenne Platinum Edition models offer premium-quality features. The SUV Petrol and Diesel versions now feature large 20-inch wheels in RS Spyder design, housed in wider wheel arches.

The exclusive interiors are complemented by leather sport seats with electric eight-way adjustment, Alcantara centre panels and the Porsche crest on all headrests. The manufacturer of exclusive two- and four-door sports cars uses the Platinum Edition designation for selected model series that are offered for only a limited time.
The exclusive status of the Cayenne models is immediately apparent upon entry into the car, with stainless steel door sills showcasing ‘Platinum Edition’ lettering. Additional high-end standard features include the latest generation Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system with a seven-inch touchscreen, navigation and Connect Plus module with Apple CarPlay and Siri voice, the BOSE Surround Sound system as well as a stylish analogue clock integrated in the dashboard.
The models’ expanded range of features improves comfort and safety. Standard equipment in the Cayenne Platinum Edition models includes: Bi-xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Power Steering Plus and ParkAssist in the front and rear. The two models feature rear-view and exterior mirrors with an automatic anti-glare feature.
The Cayenne also comes with additional standard features, such as Adaptive Air Suspension including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), panoramic sunroof, Bluetooth/mobile phone preparation, 4-zone climate control and electrical sun blinds for side windows in the rear.
Commenting on the introduction of the latest Cayenne model variant, Pavan Shetty, Director of Porsche India, said, “The Cayenne Platinum Edition is a thrilling four-door sports car with purposefully selected materials for an even greater sense of style. The comprehensive range of standard equipment and eye-catching details makes this premium model a truly attractive offering for our enthusiasts.”
Both models are available in a wide range of standard colours, such as non-metallic black or white, Jet Black Metallic, Rhodium Silver Metallic, Mahogany Metallic, Carrera White Metallic. A special exterior colour named Purpurite Metallic is available as an option. The wider wheel arches are also finished in the chosen exterior colour. The elegant appearance is rounded off by the black high-gloss exterior package.
The Platinum Edition of Porsche’s entry-level Cayenne delivers 300 hp (220 kW), whilst the Cayenne Diesel produces 245 hp (180 kW). The new models are available for order now, with deliveries set to commence in August 2016. The Ex-Showroom prices Mumbai for the Cayenne Platinum Edition is Rs 1,06,6800 and the Cayenne Diesel Platinum Edition stand at Rs 1,08,86,000
