Safety of students, globally recognised educational standards, low cost fee structure compared to India and quality life were the attractive features for the students who want to study in Belarus Universities, she said.
Speaking at press conference here on Wednesday, Maryna said Belarus had been a preferred place for medical education to Indian students due to its high standards of teaching as well as recognition awarded by Medical Council of India. All the four medical universities in Belarus were state-owned and thousands of Indian students graduated from those colleges, she explained. Belarus was one of the leading establishments in Europe attracting 10,700 foreign students every year, particularly in medical education, she said.
The Gomel State Medical University achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for international quality education, she said adding that the successful graduates returning to India from 2009 onwards cleared their MCI Screening Test and took jobs in government and Corporate hospitals. Medico Abroad Managing partner and overseas students admission representative of Gomel State Medical University V Rajaram said that six years medical course costs a total of Rs 21 lakhs, with facility for payment of tution fee in installments at Rs 1.40 lakh per semester which easier for medical students.
