Goal setting key to success in life
Sr Lovely Jacob, Head of Department of Social Work, A Jyothsna, Head of Department of Politics, and other faculty members were present. BA Social Work students attended the workshop.
The Department of Social Work of Maris Stella College organised a workshop on `Goal Setting’ here on Monday. Purushothama Rao P, Assistant Vice-President and Circle Head of Max Life Insurance, who attended the workshop as a resource person, said goal setting helps students realise their career dreams, besides improving their personality.
After setting a goal, one should work hard with determination to achieve it. Otherwise, there is no meaning in setting goals in life. One should not get discouraged by temporary failures, which are quite common in realisation of goals. Our accomplishments are the real goals, he said.
