Mandali Krishna Rao award for Telugu Association of Malaysia
Mandali Venkata Krishna Rao International Telugu Centre of Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, will be presenting the Mandali Venkata Krishna Rao Cultural Award for 2016 to the Telugu Association of Malaysia (TAM) at a function at Hotel Ilapuram in the city on Thursday to mark the birth anniversary of the former minister.
Mandali Venkata Krishna Rao International Telugu Centre of Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, will be presenting the Mandali Venkata Krishna Rao Cultural Award for 2016 to the Telugu Association of Malaysia (TAM) at a function at Hotel Ilapuram in the city on Thursday to mark the birth anniversary of the former minister.
According to a press release issued by Telugu University Registrar V Sathi Reddy on Tuesday, the annual award is presented to eminent persons and organizations in recognition of their endeavour to promote Telugu language and culture worldwide. It carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000. Dr Achaiah Kumar Rao, president of the Telugu Association of Malaysia and its members will receive the award on behalf of TAM.
Deputy Speaker of Assembly Mandali Buddha Prasad, Human Resource Development Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Information and Public Relations Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy, Water Resources Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and others will attend the award presentation function, the Registrar added.
