Toyota has revealed the updated Etios twins globally in their range topping Platinum trim that gets revised exteriors as well as interiors to make it look fresh. We spotted the facelifted Etios sedan recently in India with camouflage and that hints us about its launch later this year. This will be the second facelift for the Toyota Etios in India.

The changes on the facelifted Toyota Etios include new bumpers with sporty elements, new alloys having chrome and black finish and new grille. On the inside, you will notice an all-black dashboard having a three-spoke steering from the Corolla and a new design for the instrument cluster that still sits in the middle.

Toyota has added a new touch-screen infotainment system that looks sizeable. There is a good dose of piano black panels in the centre console. The Etios twins now get cruise control, ISOFIX child seat mount, three-point seatbelt and head restraint for the middle seat passenger making the car safer, adding to the comfort.

Apart from the aforementioned changes, the Toyota Etios remains more or less the same. There will be no changes in the engine options for the Indian market. The Etios Liva will continue to get the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel while the Etios sedan will have the same 1.5-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engines. The India launch is expected later this year.
