Cops turn Good Samaritans
The police personnel who are on Krishna Pushkaralu duties regulating the traffic and movement of the pilgrims turned Good Samaritans on Sunday helping the pilgrims. The helping cops were appreciated by the pilgrims who watched them helping the aged and disabled.

Several police personnel took the aged and disabled persons to the bathing ghats using the tricycles and helped them take holy dip in the river. Some have carried the aged pilgrims by hands and assisted them take the dip.
The police, whose very presence scare people, became very friendly with the pilgrims, guiding them to the ghats and pushkar nagars, helping them cross the roads, besides their regular duty. This change in the style of function of the police on Pushkar security had come after DGP N Sambasiva Rao, gave them instructions to be pilgrim-friendly.
