Veda Parayanam includes recitation of Yajur Veda, Sama Veda and Atharva Veda. Surya Stuti, Aishwarya Prapti, Bhagavad Anugraham, Aruna Parayanam, Shukla Yajurveda and other Vedic hymns are also recited during the daily temple ritual.

According to Vedic scholars, Lord Venkateswara likes to listen to Veda Parayanam. Pushkar pilgrims sought the blessings of Lord Venkateswara by attending the Veda Parayanam ritual in large numbers.
