IDP Education India, a leading student placement service provider, organised the Australian education fair in the city on Thursday. Piyush Kumar, country director of IDP Education, said the fair brought several prominent universities and educational institutes from Australia under one roof for the benefit of students aspiring to pursue higher education Down Under. It was a free platform for all students to apply directly to the institution of their choice and get first hand information about courses, fees, scholarships and other related things.

The fair provided an opportunity to students to have one-on-one interaction with representatives of 13 Australian institutions, including CQ University, Deakin University and Deakin College, Flinders University, James Cook University, Kent Institute-Australia, La Trobe University, Melbourne Institute of Technology, QUT, Swinburne University of Technology, University of South Australia, University of Southern Queensland and Western Sydney University. A good number of students attended the education fair.
