Praneetha Rao, Satish Ganesh selected for Cycle Polo Nationals
Two Oxford school students were selected for Cycle Polo National championship, which will be held from September 27 to October 2 in Kerala.
Two Oxford school students were selected for Cycle Polo National championship, which will be held from September 27 to October 2 in Kerala. The School players Alluri Lakshmi Praneetha Rao and Satish Ganesh were selected to state team after their good performance in the inter district championship.
They represented the Krishna district team and participated in State championship at Banaganapalli of Kurnool district and won gold medals in Under-14 and Under-18 category events respectively. The school principal Bandi Stanley and vice-principal Ch Satyaveni congratulated the two cycle polo players on Tuesday at the school premises.
Speaking on the occasion principal Stanly said that the management encouraged students in sports on par with education. He said the support for sports and games would continue from the school management. School Physical Education Teacher (PET) Vijaya Kumar and others attended the event.
