AP, TN, TS lifters lead in national weightlifting tourney

Andhra Pradesh, Telengana and Tamil Nadu lifters are taking the lead in Youth and Junior National Weight Lifting Championship being conducted at Chalasani Babu Rajendra Prasad (CBR) Academy of Sports, Kethanakonda near Vijayawada on Tuesday.

Krishna district weight lifting association is conducting the tournament with the support of CBR Sports Academy for the last two days. In all, 17 states are participating in both Youth and Junior Boys and Girls categories.

In youth Boys category host Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu lifters exhibited their talent and won the medals. Whereas in the Youth Gilrs section Andhra Pradesh continuing in the lead. Tamil Nadu has taken lead in junior boys and in the girls category Telangana and Tamilanadu are fighting for medals.
