Opportunities in banking sector discussed
The Department of Management Studies of Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikharjuna Rao College of Engineering and Technology (PSCMRCET) organised a seminar on `Opportunities in the Banking Sector’ for MBA students on Monday.
The Department of Management Studies of Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikharjuna Rao College of Engineering and Technology (PSCMRCET) organised a seminar on `Opportunities in the Banking Sector’ for MBA students on Monday. Participating in the seminar as a chief guest, PD Srinivas, Manager of Karur Vysya Bank, Vijayawada, said there are immense career avenues in the banking sector for MBA students irrespective of their specialization. Students need to put additional effort to get a job in the banking sector.
Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (JAIIB) and Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) programmes are very helpful to MBA students to shine in the career, he said. PSCMRCET principal K Nageswara Rao said the seminar was conducted as part of the initiative of the college to provide coaching to MBA students for competitive examinations to enable them to get good placements after completion of the course. HoD of MBA V Vijaya Durga Prasad and others spoke.
