The Voluntary Health, Education and Economic Development unit (VHEEDU) organised a workshop for the teachers of Krishna district at a private hotel in the city on Thursday. The Deputy Transport commissioner of the city E Meera Prasad took part in the event and addressed the gathering.

Speaking on the occasion, Meera Prasad said that the teachers have got the responsibility to convey the traffic guidelines and instructions to the students. He also said that the teachers should educate the students to stop the cell phone driving and drunk and drive, which is the cause for many of the accidents in the city. He also said that the students of below18 years of age should be restricted from driving motor vehicles.
