The state government organised an art exhibition on the account of the ongoing Amaravati Shopping Festival (ASF) at Bapu block of Victoria Jubilee Museum here in the city on Friday. Famous painter and Padma awardee SV Rama Rao inaugurated the event.

Speaking on the occasion, SV Rama Rao said that the state has got many talented artists and the government is happily encouraging them by hosting these exhibitions.

He also said that the students, amateur painters and professionals equally justified the skill and put a vibrant artwork of painting. He further said that the painting exhibition has met the international standards and congratulated the artists.

The secretary of World Telugu Artists Art Society, K Balayogi said that the exhibition has got various art forms of paintings like abstract, modern, realistic and many other by various artists across the state.

He also said that the painting exhibition would continue up to October 29 and during these days the paintings would be sold at a discounted price. The officials of Tourism department and other artists have taken part in this inaugural event.
