PB Vaishnavi and Anusha Kalluri of Hyderabad presented an enchanting Kuchipudi dance concert at Madhu Malaxmi Chambers in the city on Sunday evening. The Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCV&A) and Natyamitram jointly organised the dance programme. The duo who started their concert with `Gajananayutham’, performed `Marakatha Manimaya’, `Swagatham Krishna’ and `Thillana’ with grace, captivating the audience.

Joint Collector Gandham Chandrudu who attended the programme as a chief guest, commended the impressive dance performance of Vaishnavi and Anusha. D Vijaya Bhaskar, Director of Department of Language and Culture, said a plan was evolved to promote the traditional art forms in the State in a big way.

Yarlagadda Harish Chandra Prasad, chairman of Malaxmi Group and founder of the CCV&A, said that they were planning to organise dance, music and other cultural programmes at the centre regularly. Sandeep Mandava, CEO of Malaxmi Property Ventures, E Siva Nagi Reddy, CEO of the CCV&A, Golla Narayana Rao, chairman of Vijayawada Buddha Vihara, and others were present.
