The two day annual cultural festival Bhavana-2016 of PG Wing, of Andhra Loyola College ended on a colorful note on Tuesday. The event took off with the theme ‘Cultures for Unity’ and the students of Loyola and other colleges also took an active part in the event.

The two day annual cultural festival Bhavana-2016 of PG Wing, of Andhra Loyola College ended on a colorful note on Tuesday. The event took off with the theme ‘Cultures for Unity’ and the students of Loyola and other colleges also took an active part in the event.

The cultural fest of Loyola October, hosted various intra and inter-collegiate competitions like Spot Painting, Mehandi, Rangoli, Quiz, Solo and Group Dance. The students of various colleges took part in the competions and won prizes. The solo and group singing, mime, skit, fashion show, Mr & Miss Bhavana gained attention from majority and the students and attracted the students.

Speaking on the occasion, The Principal of the College Rev Fr Dr GAP Kishore greeted the organisers and said that such programmes would enrich the spirit of ‘Oneness’ among culturally diversified people. The inter college competitions also helps the students in improving the confidence levels along with the passion towards arts.

He also said that such cultural festivals remind the sense of responsibility in all classes of citizens of the country. The programme was organised and supervised by Fr Dr A Rex Anglo, N Bharathi, the Co-Vice Principal, Mary Manjula, Coordinator of Women Cell, faculty members Sandeep, Sankar, Kavitha, Jaison Jose, and students of PG participated in the programme.
