Dr Ghazal Srinivas mesmerised the audience with his soft modulated interaction with audience and expressive singing of Ghazal in a programme organised by Mummaneni Subbarao’s Siddhartha Kala Peetham on Wednesday evening at Siddhartha auditorium.

Kesiraju Srinivas popularly known as Ghazal Srinivas hails from palakollu, West Godavari district. Dr C Narayana Reddy has observed the thirst of Srinivas and encouraged him in initial stage.
Srinivas has a unique style of singing. He received many rewards and awards like a Doctorate and a Guinness World Record to his credit. Apart from this, many organisations honored Srinivas for his service not only to music but also for his service to social causes.
With his unique style of singing Ghazals, he impressed the fully packed auditorium. He commenced his concert with a song inviting Lord Venkateswara “okkasari ravayya swamy.. yennalluga pilustunna swamy”. Srinivas made the audience recollect their childhood with his song “Undo ledo Swargam. Na Punyam na kichey… Na sarvaswam neekista.. Na Balyam nakicheye”.
He emphasised on the need of villages and the prettiness of the villagers in his ghazal “Okkasari ooriki poyira .. batikina pallela kosam...”. Another ghazal showcased the affection on wife “Tinnava leda ani adigava eppudina… Nadum valchaledani adigava eppudina...”
Srinivas’s interaction with the audience while singing gave the auditorium life. The ghazal concert was excellently supported by the instruments. Dr C Nageswara Rao, DR PSN Murthy, Dr NV, Krishna Rao, Siddhartha Academy president Lakshma Rao, Y Madhusudhana Rao, and others were present for this programme .
